The Selectmen talked about some issues they are going to bring up at their workshop.  Selectman Emery said they did not get into detail; they just made a list.

Joe Wallace was in and picked up a copy of the deed for the land that the town sold to the church.

The Board talked about carry-forwards which will be on their agenda for tomorrow night and discussed a new photocopier for the Code Enforcement Office.

The Tax Collector came in and made a recommendation to the Board on how they do some of the exemptions and listing the person’s name that goes with the exemption.  Selectman Harmon said as long as she has been here the Board has always done it using the Map and Lot number and not the person’s name.  She (Tax Collector) wanted to know if the Board could do it the way they did years ago using the name.

  • Review of Correspondence
  • Advisory from Dr. Sheila Pinette, Maine CDC Director – Re: Enterovirus D68 Confirmed in Maine

  • Review of Projects and Issues
Selectman Burns was out of town for most of the week.

Selectman Booker reported that she made some adjustments to the Personnel Policy in preparation for the Board’s workshop tomorrow night and just passed copies out to the rest of the Board a few minutes ago for everyone to look at.

Selectman Booker said she did do some research on electric rates and printed off another sheet for the Board to look at to see comparisons between the Standard Offer and certain suppliers of electricity within the state.  She said the Board will look at those and then decide if they want to go out to a broker who looks at rates all across the country so they can compare what they have.

Selectman Harmon has been in and out all week.  She said she has been looking at what our Tax Collector has been doing and talked with her about a couple of reviews that people were looking at and sending out letters to them

Selectman Harmon said she has been reviewing some inventory lists that have come to us, making sure that everyone on the Board has a copy of the carry-forward requests that they will be talking about tomorrow night.

Selectman Santolucito reported that he has been looking over carry-forward information and getting prepared for tomorrow night’s meeting when they will have a discussion about those and figure out how best to move forward.

Selectman Emery worked out of town most of last week.  He came in yesterday to go over a few things, got the mail out and went through that, and has been calling in every day to see if anything needed to be done or if anyone had questions he could help with.
